Install - Life Goes On!

Life goes on! Brown Design Group just completed an install for a treasured client's guest house at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. We had so much fun! Here is a glimpse of the process and of this amazing home where crisp, clean lines meet subtle layers of texture to create the ultimate, dreamy atmosphere in every last room. Come see...

A couple of very large moving vans, endless boxes, design guides for each room and great helpers start the process...and then, voila!

The furnishings, window treatments and tidy lighting fixtures we chose harmonize with the rectilinear lines of the architecture, the fine finishes of the delicately grey toned natural wood ceilings and floors, the grey toned doors throughout, the quiet strength and structure of black hardware. Here and there, notice curves: the tailored woven dining chairs, the circular lighting, the swivel barrel chairs in the living room, end tables at the fireplace setting. The natural color palette softens and soothes as the attention is drawn outside to the stunning lake view...

Again the layering of textures - wallpaper, carpets, chairs, ottomans, window shades and bedding fabrics - creates a nest of comfort for guests...
